Position Description: |
The Project Coordinator will be part of the middle management team in DACAAR, assisting Project Manager in managing of DACAAR's WASH projects under BHA fund on the day-to-day basis. The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager and works closely together with him, as well as with the Deputy Director/Head of Programme & Operations Manager. The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager in supervising the BHA related activities and ensure improved and equitable use of safe drinking water, sanitation, healthy environment and improved hygiene practices in provinces and vulnerable areas. he/she has the responsibility to ensure that the Project is managed and implemented according to DACAAR and donor rule and regulation. The Project Coordinator is broadly engaged with the Project Manager to assist him/her in day-to-day project management according to the project design. Furthermore, he/she plays a vital coordinating role in providing on-time oversight and support to the field offices and field work. |

Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits | |
Education:Bachelor in Civil Engineering is required and Master degree is preferred.

Experience: Minimum Five (5) years of proven experience in survey & Design of WASH projects | |

Languages:Oral and written fluency in (English, Dari, Pashto)
